A customer's open orders follow them. Staff can see and complete a pickup without leaving the sale screen.
The Fulfillments panel on a sale
Attach a customer with open orders, and a Fulfillments section appears in the sale sidebar, badged with the count. Open it to see every order they are waiting on, each with its method, its document, and its current status.
A ready order carries its own Mark picked up button.
When something is ready and the customer is standing in front of you, tap Mark picked up, confirm, and the order is closed out. No trip to the queue.
Note: Pickups happen where the sale happened. If the order was sold at another store, the register will say so and ask you to switch locations. Shipping orders never appear here as pickups, because shipping has already finished them.
The customer's file
Open a customer record, and the same Customer orders panel sits at the bottom, listing their full history rather than just what is open. A count at the top of the page tells you how many they have.
Every line links back to its sale, so you can answer any question about an order from one page.
Refunds and voids
Refund a line and its fulfillment is reduced by the refunded quantity, releasing the reservation. Void the refund and the reservation comes back. Cancel or void the whole sale, and the lines are canceled with it, with the cancellation message going out if you have that trigger on.
