Add Scan / Global Search and Field Based Search in Sales Screen Adds barcode scan plus a global search on the sales screen, with the ability to search by specific fields like description, size, cost price, selling price, quantity, reorder level, manufacturer, and tag. Lets staff find any item fast without knowing the exact name.
Using Advanced Filters in the Cart
In the top-left menu panel, click the green New Sale button to open the register interface.
Locate the filter icon next to the item barcode scanner field and click the plus (+) button directly above it. This opens the Advanced filter settings block.
Type a recognizable name into the Filter name field if you intend to reuse this set of rules later.
Click the first dropdown menu (labeled Select...) to choose the core attribute you want to filter by:
Click the center dropdown menu to choose how the system evaluates your input:
Type your search criteria into the blank text field next to the condition dropdown, then click the green Apply button to update your item lookup grid
Click the pink Delete button to clear your active filter parameters and return to the default view.
