The Multi Quick Variation Matrix lets you set pricing and quantities for every variation combination of an item in one fast, grid-based view. It is built for items that have two variants, such as size and color.
Before you start
This tool requires exactly two variants to work. The matrix arranges them so the first variation runs down the left side and the second variation runs across the top. For example, sizes can run across the top while colors run down the side.
1. Open the Multi Quick Variation Matrix
Open the matrix on an item with two variants. You will see a grid with one variation listed down the left and the other listed across the top, creating a cell for every combination.
2. Enter pricing for each variation combination
Fill in the cost price and selling price for each variant combination. For example, an extra small might have a cost of $20 and a selling price of $50. The matrix updates each combination as you enter values.
3. Set quantities for each variant cell
Enter the quantity for each size and color combination. For example, extra small / red could be 2, with other cells set to 1, 3, and so on. You can move through the grid quickly as you enter quantities.
4. Use the arrow keys to move through the matrix
Navigate the matrix using the arrow keys. Movement works up, down, left, and right, so you can fill in values fast without clicking each cell individually.
5. Update cost prices across the row or grid
The same quick-entry behavior applies when setting cost prices. As you move across the matrix, the values update accordingly, which helps you enter variation data much faster.
