Creating Tax Groups

  • Create a new tax group as needed by clicking "Add Tax Group"

  • You can add a rate to a group to calculate Cumulative Tax rates, this merges them together.

  • Select a default tax group.

Setting Location-Specific Taxes

  • Go to Locations on the side menu.

  • Click on the specific location you want to configure taxes for.

  • Select Taxes and Fees.

4. Choosing Tax Options

  • You have three options:

    • Use Default Tax: Applies the global tax settings selected as default.

    • Override Default Tax: Choose a specific tax group for this location (Flat rate).

    • Override Default Tax with Price Threshold: Set a price threshold for different tax rates, Over and Under a specified price.

Configuring Price Thresholds

  • If using the price threshold option:

    • Define the price amount.

    • Set one tax rate for prices above this amount.

    • Set a different tax rate for prices below this amount.

  • Review and confirm that tax settings comply with local regulations for each location.

Note:
1: Ensure that the default tax group is set correctly to avoid miscalculations.
2: Double Check Price Thresholds to ensure they align with your pricing strategy
