From the Dashboard, navigate to Sales. Attach a customer by typing in the search bar.
Add your item(s). Then, enable the checkbox next to Special Order.
Add a payment method and Complete the Sale.
Note: Receipts will show which items were special ordered.
4. Once the item has arrived or is ready, navigate to the Receiving tab.
5. Click Suspended Receivings and Purchase Orders.
6. Unsuspend the purchase order.
7. The sale will populate in a new screen. Click Receive, then Finish.
8. To update the status of the special order, navigate to Sales. Attach the customer once more.
9. Expand the special order menu. Click Picked Up to update the status.
10. Add a pick up note (optional).
11. Click OK to keep any changes made.
