The Special Orders feature lets you sell items to customers even when those items aren’t currently in stock. You can think of it as a convenient way to offer pre-orders for products your store doesn’t have on hand.
Enable Special Orders
From the Dashboard, navigate to Store Config.
Type in the search bar or scroll down the list to locate Special Orders.
Click the checkbox next to Enable Special Orders.
Click Save to keep any changes made.
Create a Special Order During a Sale
From Sales, Add items as needed.
Click in the search bar to attach a customer.
Enable the checkbox next to Special Order. Then, Complete the Sale.
Note: The checkbox for Special Order will not appear until a customer is attached.
