Troubleshooting a Dejavoo P12 Terminal
If your Dejavoo P12 terminal shows a black screen or is not processing transactions, follow the steps below to restore it to the correct payment mode.
Step 1: Wake the Screen
If the screen is black or appears frozen:
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
This should open the main app launcher.
Step 2: Open DV Pay Lite
On the app menu, tap DvPayLite.
(You’ll see it alongside other apps like AnyDesk, Camera, and Settings.)Wait a few seconds while it loads.
Step 3: Wait for DVSPIn
Once DvPayLite opens, you should see DVSPIn on the screen with the message:
“Listening for transaction...”
This means the device is in listening mode and is connected properly to the POS or payment system.
Step 4: Verify Connection
If “DVSPIn” does not appear, ensure the terminal is connected to Wi-Fi.
You can check Wi-Fi under Settings > Network & Internet.
Reopen DvPayLite if needed.
Step 5: Additional Tips
Avoid closing DvPayLite during normal operation.
If the device still doesn’t respond, restart it by holding the power button for a few seconds, then repeat the steps above.
If AnyDesk is installed, support can connect remotely for further troubleshooting.
