Set up your Valor Terminal easily using a wired LAN or WiFi connection. Follow the steps below to get started:
Connect via LAN Wired Ethernet.
Use this method if your terminal will stay in one location and you prefer a stable, wired connection.
Follow the steps below:
Turn off the device and turn it upside down.
If you are using an Ethernet connection, plug your Ethernet cable into the LAN port.
Power the device back on and tap the Connection icon on the home screen.
Connect via WiFi.
Choose this option if you want a wireless setup that allows more flexibility in where your terminal is placed.
Follow the steps below:If you plan to use a WiFi connection, power on the device.
Tap Yes, Connect on the screen.
Select your location’s SSID and enter the password.
Hit OK on the pad when done.
Note: To switch from another connection type to WiFi, tap the Connection icon in the top right of the touch screen and choose WiFi.
