Introduction to Work Order

A Work Order is a structured system that helps track, manage, and complete tasks efficiently in your store or workshop. On the Dashboard, you can quickly view work orders by their status, such as:

  • New.
    Recently created work orders.

  • Embroider.
    Orders requiring embroidery.

  • Adjust Length.
    Orders requiring length adjustments.

  • Adjust Waist.
    Orders requiring waist adjustments.

  • Other Alterations.
    Orders requiring other types of alterations.

  • Needs Cleaning.

    Items that need cleaning.

  • Ready for Pickup.
    Orders waiting for customer collection.

  • Completed.
    Finished work orders.

  • Cancelled.
    Orders that were cancelled.


Filter Search

The Filter Search allows you to see tasks assigned to specific technicians and track the type of work they handle.


You can also hide completed or cancelled work orders for a cleaner, focused view.


Adding a New Work Order

Add New Work Order, fill in the required details, and assign the task to the appropriate technician. This keeps all jobs organized and ensures nothing is overlooked.


Drop Menu Options

The drop-down menu provides additional management tools.

Including:

  • Manage Deleted Work Orders.

    Restore or permanently remove deleted entries

  • Manage Statuses.

    Configure available work order statuses

  • Import Work Orders.

    Upload multiple orders at once

  • Custom Field Configuration.

    Create custom fields for extra details

  • Manage Email Templates.

    Customize notifications

  • Manage Checkboxes.

    Set pre-order and post-order checklists


Custom Fields and Checkboxes

Custom fields allow you to capture specific information such as text, required fields, or details shown on receipts. Checkboxes help track pre- and post-order tasks efficiently.


Work Order Statuses

By leveraging these tools effectively, your team can streamline workflow, reduce errors, and provide a smoother experience for customers.

Work orders progress through these statuses:

  • New

  • Embroider

  • Adjust Waist

  • Other Alterations

  • Needs Cleaning

  • Ready for Pickup

  • Completed

  • Cancelled
