Delivery Categories help you group and color-code deliveries for easier tracking and organization. Follow the steps below to create, edit, and manage your delivery categories.
Create a Delivery Category
Follow the steps below to create a new delivery category:
From Dashboard, click the Deliveries tab.
In the top-right corner, click the three-dots (...).
Select Manage Categories.
Click Add Category to create a new category.
Enter a Category Name, then click inside the Category Color field to choose a color from the dropdown.
Click Done to return to the main Deliveries page.
Edit a Delivery Category
To keep your delivery organization accurate and up to date. Follow the steps below to edit a category:
In the Manage Categories window, click Edit next to the category name.
Update the name or color as needed.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Note: Edits apply to all deliveries assigned to that category.
Delete a Category
If a category is no longer needed, you can remove it from your list to keep your delivery setup organized. Follow the steps below to delete a category:
In the Manage Categories window.
Click Delete next to the category you want to remove.
When prompted for confirmation, click OK to proceed.
Note: Deleting a category cannot be undone. It will be removed from all deliveries previously assigned to it.
Categories and the Delivery Calendar
If you want your calendar to use category colors, follow these steps:
From Dashboard, click Store Config tab.
In the top search bar, type delivery and press Enter.
Under Orders and Deliveries, find the Delivery Color Based On field.
From the dropdown menu, select Category.
Now, when you view your delivery calendar, each delivery will display its category color for easy visual tracking.
