Introduction to Sales

The Sales module allows you to manage customer transactions, process payments, and track store activity. From here, you can create new sales, handle exchanges or returns, and generate reports.


Add New Item

Adding a new item lets you expand your product catalog so it’s available for sale.

You can enter details like name, category, price, and quantity to keep your inventory up-to-date.


Sales Button Options

The Sales screen includes several quick-action buttons.

To handle different types of transactions:

  • Exchange.
    Swap items returned by a customer for new ones.

  • Return.
    Process items customers bring back for refund.

  • Estimate.
    Create a non-final sale quotation for customers.

  • Store Account Payment.
    Record payments made against customer accounts.

  • Purchase Points.
    Apply or redeem loyalty/reward points.


Show Grid

The grid displays the current inventory, great for touch screen usage, to add items into your sale cart.

After selecting an item, each line shows product details, quantity, selling price, and total. It updates automatically as items are scanned or added.


Drop-down Menu

The drop-down menu provides advanced sales actions and management options.

Including:

  • Exchange.
    Manage item returns and exchanges.

  • Sell Gift Card.
    Issue or redeem gift cards with assigned values.

  • Suspended Sales.
    Save incomplete sales to continue later.

  • Work Orders.
    Track and manage customer service orders.

  • Delivery Orders. Create and update deliveries with assigned staff.

  • Search Sales.
    Filter and report sales by date, location, or criteria.

  • Store Account Payment.
    Apply customer payments to outstanding balances.

  • Batch Sale.
    Manage and review grouped credit card transactions.

  • Import Sales.
    Upload and record external sales data.

  • View/Edit Card Transactions.
    Review or modify past card payments.

  • Lookup Receipt.
    Search for a specific past sale receipt.

  • Show Last Sale Receipt.

    Quickly reopen the most recent transaction receipt.

  • Customer Facing Display.
    Show sales totals on a second screen for customers.

  • Pop Open Cash Drawer.
    Open the register drawer without processing a sale.

  • Enable Test Mode.
    Practice transactions without affecting real records.

  • Custom Field Configuration.
    Add or adjust extra fields for line items or sales.

  • Show All Receipts for Today.
    List every sale completed within the current day.


Add New Customer

Adding a new customer allows you to record contact details, track sales history, and manage account balances.

This helps personalize service and maintain accurate records.
