Sometimes suppliers send damaged or incorrect items. To keep your inventory and reports accurate, you can record returns in Vibe.
When creating a return:
Finish a return if you’ve already received the refund or credit.
Suspend a return if you’re waiting for the supplier to process it.
Create a Return to Supplier
To create return, follow the step below:
Go to the Dashboard. Then, click the Receiving tab.
Click the red Receive button at the top, then select Return.
Click the field and Add items to the return queue.
Add a Supplier.
Select a Payment Method.
Choose if you'll receive credit or a refund.
The total will display as a negative amount to reflect money leaving your purchase history.
Review Return Details.
The receiving date defaults to today’s date. To backdate or change it, check the box and enter a new date.
You can also add comments to include notes about the return for your records.
Complete or Suspend a Return
When processing a return, you have two options depending on whether the supplier’s credit or replacement items have been received.
Choose one of the two options below:
Finish.
Select this if the credit or replacement items are already received. The return will be marked complete, removed from your queue, and can be found later by searching the Receiving ID.Suspend.
Select this if you are still waiting for the supplier’s credit. The return will remain in your queue for easy reference until it is resolved.
