Create & Manage Custom Attributes

A custom attribute is a way to define unique item details. It cannot be reused in other items unless you manually recreate it.

Create a Custom Attribute

To create a custom attribute, follow the steps below:

  1. From the dashboard, click the Inventory tab.

  2. Under the Inventory tab, select Items.

  3. Click the Edit button.
    ​

  4. Go to the Variations section.
    ​

  5. Click the Attributes field.
    ​

  6. From the dropdown, select New Custom Attribute.
    ​

    Then click Add, and enter your attribute name.

  7. In the Values field, type your options.
    ​

    Press Tab or select from the dropdown to add each value.

  8. When viewing items on the Item Feature page, any item with attributes, global or custom, will display a stacked icon under its name.
    ​

Note: Adding values helps speed up item setup, allowing you to auto-create variations later on.

Delete a Custom Attribute

If you no longer need a custom attribute, you can remove it.

  1. Go to the Variations section for the item.
    ​

  2. Locate the custom attribute you want to remove.
    ​


    ​Click Delete in the attribute’s row to remove it.

Note: This action will remove the attribute and any variations linked to it.
