Price rules give you flexibility in setting up discounts, promotions, and special pricing across your items. They help ensure consistent pricing so that you can avoid manually changing item prices.
Create a New Price Rule
By setting up rules, you can control how prices are applied during sales and ensure consistency across transactions. Follow the steps below to create a new price rule:
From the Dashboard, click Inventory.
Under Inventory, select the Price Rules tab.
Click the Create Rule button to add a new rule.
Fill in the Price Rule Information.
Check the box if the rule is Unlimited.
If not, enter the desired number for Maximum Allowed Per Sale. Once done, click Save.
A notification will pop up confirming that the rule has been created successfully.
Note: When adding a new item, only the fields marked in red are required.
Edit Price Rule
Editing price rules allows you to update existing discounts, promotions, or special pricing without creating a new one from scratch. Follow the steps below to edit a price rule:
From the Dashboard, click Inventory.
Under Inventory, select the Price Rules tab.
Click the Edit button to update price rule.
Update the necessary fields in the Price Rule Information section.
Once done, click Save.
A notification will pop up confirming that the rule has been updated successfully.
Delete Price Rules
To delete Price Rules, follow the steps below:
From the Dashboard, click Inventory.
Under Inventory, click the Price Rules tab.
Locate the rule you want to edit and click the Edit button.
Update the Price Rule Information as needed.
For example, you can update the Start Date and End Date of the rule to control when the pricing is active. Once done, click Save.
A notification will pop up confirming that the rule has been updated successfully.
Manage Deleted Price Rules
Managing deleted price rules allows you to view or restore rules that were previously removed. Follow the steps below to manage deleted price rules:
From the Dashboard, click Inventory.
Under Inventory, click the Price Rules tab.
Click the three dots button to see the Manage Deleted Price Rules option.
Click Manage Deleted Price Rules.
Locate the deleted rule you want to manage.
To restore the rule, click the Undelete button.
A confirmation message will appear.
Click OK to proceed.
The restored rule will reappear in your active Price Rules list.
