Manufacturers tab helps you track who produces the items in your inventory. Adding manufacturers supports warranty tracking and reporting on item sources. You can manage and assign manufacturers when creating or editing items.
Access Manufacturers
You can view and manage your list of manufacturers directly from the dashboard by following the step below:
From the dashboard, go to Inventory.
Under Inventory, select the Manufacturers tab.
Add a Manufacturer
Create a new manufacturer to associate with your items by following the steps below:
Under Add Manufacturer, enter the manufacturer’s name in the Name field.
Click Create.
The new manufacturer will be added to the Manufacturers list.
Edit/Delete a Manufacturer
Update manufacturer details when changes are needed. Locate the manufacturer in the list and click Edit.
Once done, click Create. Changes will automatically apply to all linked items.
A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to delete the manufacturer.
Click the Confirm button, to remove the manufacturer.
Note: Click Done in the top-right corner to return to the normal items page.
