Managing Your Manufacturers

Manufacturers tab helps you track who produces the items in your inventory. Adding manufacturers supports warranty tracking and reporting on item sources. You can manage and assign manufacturers when creating or editing items.


Access Manufacturers

You can view and manage your list of manufacturers directly from the dashboard by following the step below:

  1. From the dashboard, go to Inventory.
    ​

  2. Under Inventory, select Manufacturers tab.
    ​


Add a Manufacturer

Create a new manufacturer to associate with your items by following the steps below:

  1. Click Add Manufacturer at the top or bottom of the list.

  2. In the popup, enter the Manufacturer Name.

    Once done, click OK to save.


Edit a Manufacturer

Update manufacturer details when changes are needed. Locate the manufacturer in the list and click Edit.

Once done, click Save. Changes will automatically apply to all linked items.


Delete a Manufacturer

Remove manufacturers that are no longer relevant.

  1. Find the manufacturer in the list and click Delete.

  2. A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to delete the manufacturer.
    ​


    Click OK button, to remove the manufacturer.
    ​

Note: Click Done in the top-right corner to return to the normal items page.
