Item Custom Fields

Item custom fields make it easier to capture details unique to your inventory. These fields appear on every item page and are optional unless you set them as required. Each store can have up to 10 custom fields. To create custom fields, follow the steps below:

  1. From the dashboard, click the Inventory tab.

  2. Under the Inventory tab, select Items.

  3. Click the three-dots (...).

    Select Custom Field Configuration.

  4. Click Dropdown to add new custom field. Fill out the options:

    • Name
      The label for your custom field.

    • Type :
      Choose the format for your field:

      • Text

      • Dropdown

      • Checkbox

      • E-Mail

      • Website

      • Phone Number

      • Date

      • Image

      • File

    Once finished, click Save to apply your changes.

Note:
These are the Additional Options to fill out.

  • Show on Receipt
    Check to print this field on receipts.

  • Hide Field Label
    Hides the field name on the receipt but shows the value.

  • Required
    Check to make the field mandatory for all items.

  • Editing or Updating Fields
    You can edit or update fields anytime by changing the field and clicking Save again.
