The Receiving tab allows you to manage all incoming stock transactions. You can search for items by name or scan a barcode to quickly add them.
Add New Item
When new products arrive that aren’t in your system, you can add them right away, fill in their details, and include them in the current receiving batch.
This feature keeps your workflow uninterrupted while ensuring that all new products are tracked properly from the moment they enter your store.
Receive Button Options
The Receive button is your main control for handling stock movements. It provides multiple options for different types of transactions.
Receive button provides the following actions:
Return.
Process a return of received items.Purchase Order.
Lets you create new orders or receive against existing purchase orders from suppliers.Transfer.
Handles the receipt of stock coming from other store branches or warehouse locations.Store Account Payment.
Applies payments that are made using customer store accounts.
Show Grid
The grid view is designed to give you a clear layout of items being received. It allows you to sort items based on different criteria, such as categories, tags, suppliers, or favorites.
This makes it easier to locate specific products, confirm details, and keep large receivings structured.
Dropdown Menu
The dropdown menu provides advanced features for receiving.
Dropdown Menu Options:
Suspended Receivings and Purchase Orders.
Lets you unsuspend transactions, view receipts, or permanently delete them if no longer needed.Transfer Request.
Allows you to view transfer requests that are waiting for approval or processing.Incoming Transfers.
Used to manage and process items that are being transferred from other locations.Create Purchase Order.
Gives you the ability to select a supplier, choose categories, apply criteria, and clear items in the current cart when building a purchase order.Look Up Receipt.
Provides a way to search and review receipts from past receiving activities.Show Last Receiving.
Displays the details of the most recent receiving transaction for quick reference.Batch Receiving.
Lets you receive multiple items in bulk, saving time compared to handling them one by one.Custom Field Configuration.
Add custom fields such as invoice number, text options, or required fields that appear at the receiving header level.
Custom Field Configuration (Line Item).
Configure additional fields specific to each line item, allowing greater detail for individual products.
Add New Supplier
This feature allows you to register a new supplier directly within the receiving workflow.
This is particularly useful when dealing with new vendors or when a shipment arrives unexpectedly from a supplier not yet recorded in the system.
