Loyalty programs do more than offer discounts, they help you build stronger relationships with your customers and reward repeat business. Vibe makes it easy to set up and manage your loyalty program. Follow the steps below to create your own program:

Enable the Customer Loyalty System

Before setting up a program, you need to turn on the loyalty system in your store settings. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Store Config tab.

  2. In the search bar, type Customer Loyalty.

  3. Select Enable Customer Loyalty System.

    Customer Loyalty settings:

    • By default, all customers new and existing are enrolled.

    • To exclude specific customers, edit their profiles.

    • To apply loyalty only to selected customers, enable Disable Loyalty by Default.

Note: New customers won’t be enrolled unless added manually.

Choose a Loyalty Program Type

Vibe offers two ways to reward your customers: a simple program or an advanced points-based system. Choose the one that best fits your business.

  1. Simple Customer Loyalty Program.
The simple program rewards customers with a discount after a set number of purchases.

    Sales-Based Discount Settings:

    • Number of Sales for Discount.
Number of purchases required before a discount applies.

    • Discount Percent Earned.
Percentage discount applied after reaching the required number of sales.

  2. Advanced Customer Loyalty Program.
The advanced program creates a points system where customers earn points based on what they spend, which can later be redeemed for discounts.

Configure Spend Amount to Point Ratio:

    • Spend-to-Point Ratio.

      • Top field.
Enter how much a customer must spend.

      • Bottom field.
Enter how many points they will earn.

      • Example.
        Spend $25 = Earn 2 points → a $75 purchase earns 6 points.

    • Set Point Value.

      • Define the monetary worth of each point.

      • Example: 1 point = $2.

    • Minimum Points to Redeem.

      • Enter the minimum number of points required before a customer can redeem them.

Note:

  • Hide Sales to Discount on Receipt.
Enable hide sales to discount on receipt if you don’t want progress shown on receipts.

  • Exclude Tax.
Prevent points from being earned on the tax portion of purchases.

  • Prompt to Use Points.
Cashier will be prompted at checkout if the customer has points available.

  • Hide Points on Receipt.
Removes point balance from showing on the customer’s receipt.

  • Disable Gift Cards Sold from Earning Loyalty.
Stops points from being earned when customers purchase gift cards.

  • Enable Points for Gift Card Payments.
Allows customers to redeem points when paying with gift cards.

Edit a Customer Loyalty Program

You can update your loyalty program anytime. Changes will only affect future transactions by following these steps:

  1. Go to Store Config.

  2. In the search bar, type Customer Loyalty.

  3. Edit the desired fields.

    Once done, click save.

Note: Existing points remain but will use the new values for future redemptions.
